Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nidoro mobile application and website (nidoro.co), operated by Nidoro ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Nidoro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nidoro. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You may only create one Nidoro account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

To use Nidoro, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, complete, and current registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly at hello@nidoro.co if you suspect unauthorized access

Nidoro allows you to link your account with one other person ("partner"). Once linked:

• Financial data you enter - including transactions, budgets, and categories - is shared and synced with your partner in real time
• Either partner may unlink the accounts at any time from app settings
• Upon unlinking, data is no longer actively synced, but existing records are retained on each account unless a deletion request is made
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your partner's consent before sharing financial information within the app

Nidoro offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Nidoro Premium"). Subscriptions are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Billing: Your Apple ID account is charged upon confirmation of purchase and at renewal
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime via your Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access until then
• Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple. We do not issue refunds directly. Contact Apple Support for refund requests
• Price changes: We will notify you of subscription price changes with reasonable advance notice

You agree not to:

• Use Nidoro for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the app
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Share your account credentials with anyone other than a linked partner

You retain ownership of all financial data and content you enter into Nidoro. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and sync your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your linked partner.

We do not use your financial data for advertising, model training, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

Nidoro, including its name, logo, design, and code, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.

Nidoro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Not financial advice: Nidoro is a budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, tax, or investment advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nidoro and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) $10 USD.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via app settings or by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date above and, where appropriate, via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
